We received our shipment of zostavax vaccinations today. For those on our waiting list, we will be in the process of contacting you in the next few days to schedule your appointments. We are offering seasonal flu vaccine on a walk-in basis Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00PM until 5:00 PM.
We can bill Group Health, Medicare and Medicaid (Medicaid for ages 19 years and up only). We will attempt to bill other private insurances. Cost for the shot is $25, the Flumist is $35.
We offer pediatric vaccine for ages 6 months to 35 months. We also have vaccine for older children, pregnant women, adults and seniors.
We have on order the new “HD” vaccine which is an option for ages 65 years and up. It is the same, but much more concentrated in the hopes of providing a better immune response in older persons.
Dr. Greg Stern, a Whatcom County Health Officer, expanded eligibility for the H1N1 vaccine yesterday to include everyone over the age of 6 months. If you have not received an H1N1 vaccine and would like one, please feel free to stop by the retail pharmacy Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm to receive yours. Vaccines will be available on a walk-in basis for $25/dose. Billing to Group Health, Medicare and Medicaid is available.

We are following the screening and recommendations from the Department of Health on which the priority groups can get the H1N1 vaccine.
