How to measure for compression stockings

More and more people are wearing compression stockings daily.  This can be for a wide range of needs all the way from a trip to a plane to a diagnosis that requires you to wear compression stockings on a day to day basis.  Steve Bunney our DME manager shared “the reason I am wearing compression stockings is to make my legs feel better lessening the signs of fatigue.  I am also looking for prevention as varicose veins are hereditary in my family.  AND I think the Medi mens stockings really make my legs look great!”

When you come into our store, you will be struck by the down home feel.  Our staff is trained to help you choose the best compression stocking to meet your needs and to help with compliance.  With great pricing, great service, and a great product you are able to be well taken care of.

One of the big questions our staff gets on a day to day basis:

How do I fit these?

People sometimes think that a compression stocking is like panty hose or tights where they fit based off a persons height and weight.  Sometimes people think that stockings fit based off your shoe size.  The compression stockings we provide, in order to get a proper fit it is important to get measurements taken at the beginning point of the day when a person is just getting out of bed.  The following youtube video walks you through exactly how to do that.  If you have any questions, please call our customer service staff at 1-360-685-5004.
